6. NIECES and NEPHEWS: In May 1998 on the 1 year anniversary of graduating high school, I became an aunt. Amy and Chris had a little boy named Jackson. They were also living in Provo so it was nice to be so close and I often babysat. Over the years, they have added two more: Melanie and Allison, and Lesley and Matt introduced Murphy to the family one year ago. And I can’t forget Harris—I’m also an aunt to a 4 year old weimeraner, who is a great big “brother” to M. I absolutely adore getting to spend time with all of them. It was so fun to have Amy & Chris’s family out last month and I’m looking forward to celebrating one year with M tomorrow! PS-Melanie was featured in August’s edition of the Friend (church magazine for kids) with a painting she did of one of Mom’s orchids!
